Gaga For Blackberry…
20I am in a bit of a pickle. My incredibly generous mom gifts me with the latest technological gadgets on the market. As my web design business flourished over the last few years (simultaneously with the advancement of mobile and hand-held devices), so did my need to make sure that my clients’ websites were compatible on the Android, Blackberry aka Crackberry, iPhone, iPad, the Blackberry tab, gee whiz…….. I am getting tired just typing out of all these devices.
In any event, thanks to my mom, I own all of these devices. Let’s just be honest, this bargainista hates paying full price… ANYHOO, I digress……..
Back to my dilemma. I own a social media marketing agency. I design fabulous dynamic websites. I have to download, review and send out PDF files all day long. My beloved Crackberry went into retirement early on last year. I was gifted the Android. Tested out all my clients’ websites. Beautiful. I made my husband get the iPhone. Again, tested- Eco Press approved. BAM! my website designs……… FLAWLESS.
I so miss my Crackberry. Not sure what to do, here. Not feeling my Android. Love, love, love- ok, GAGA for my iPad………. BUT, my unmitigated love for the Blackberry lingers!
What’s a self-professed social media maven to do? Would love your opinion. Which mobile device is your FAVE? Do you use your laptop more often for searches on Google, or your phone?
Inquiring marketing mind wants to know………

iPhone 4 life!

That seems to be the recurring answer. Thanks, Gary.

Duly noted, Luis.
I am with you, eco girl. ElleO’Elle
Me likes the ElleOElle. Thanks, Ivan.
I got big thumbs, so I like the blackberry. I use my laptop more than the phone. But if I am in the car, I use the phone if I need something close by, like bank, gas station.
OMGee…. That’s exactly my problem. My thumbs are chubby (double jointed). My mom alwas told me they were a sign of intelligence. A big shot out to my fellow Chubby Thumb Savant!
Texting and responding to emails on my Android is so difficult, because I constantly hit the wrong digital letter. I have to then click back. I end up erasing too many letters. It’s a D-I-S-A-S-T-A! I spend too much time on the darn thing. The Blackberry was so easy for writing. I just don’t think it will be useful for my line of work.
I use my Android for everything. Searches. Nav. Apps. Business magmt. Without the droid, I life is void.
Thanks, Ian.
iphone for everything. laptop for work, writing documents. get the iphone. or stay with the droid. although my wife still uses her blackberry.
can your mom adopt me? btw…. thanks for always responding to my comments and questions

Anabele… ever the prolific blogger that u r. I’ve been following your blog for months. I know there’s more than meets the eye with this blog post. Right?
Oh, yeah…. Android. Search 50/50.
Ben,
It’s actually a genuine blog and desire for advice and input. However, you’re right. I plan on using this blog entry as an example in the future. I knew this topic would get people talking. Thanks for the stats.
iphone.
מתל אביב, ישראל
Toda Raba. From what I understand, everyone in Israel uses the iPhone. It’s like iPhone nation. Thanks for writing.
I enjoyed this blog. More fun and relaxed, than some of your other ones. Although each one of them is extremely helpful to me. Hope you don’t mind me saying so.
Crackberry all the way for me. Although for searches, it’s not as user friendly, so I still use my laptop. Stick with the droid.
Glad you don’t find it to be mundane. Of course I don’t mind. I’m all about engagement. Thanks for your input.
